AIKON Health, a spinoff from TNO, is developing a wearable medical device that enables seamless remote monitoring of vital signs and empowers healthcare professionals to deliver superior patient care for those suffering from chronic diseases.
AIKON Health is developing an array of wearable sensors for monitoring vital parameters relevant for Heart Failure. The wearable sensors will use technology developed in TNO. The technology provides ultra-thin stretchable and breathable skin patches for long term reliable data measurement. The wearable device solution can assist cardiologists and cardiology nurses in effective medication titration and management of their Heart Failure patients. Digital Health solution from AIKON is aimed at reducing hospital readmissions among heart failure patients by 25%.
