It’s time for a new AI Meet-up: a fun way to get in touch with the artificial intelligence community and the ecosystem of the AI Innovation Center! 

We all love ChatGPT because these large language models for generating text are easy to use and the results look amazing. But how do these models work and on what data are they actually trained? Do we care? In this talk, Meike Nauta (Datacation) will touch upon the recent GPT developments and show the possibilities and versatility of AI, while also clearing up some myths. She will provide hands-on tips to steer a “black box” like ChatGPT to generate text that aligns with your objectives, while also shedding light on the limitations of AI. AI isn’t just intelligent on its own – it needs intelligent people to apply it effectively and responsibly.

About Meike Nauta

Meike Nauta is a senior data scientist and AI consultant at Datacation. She obtained her PhD cum laude in computer science from the University of Twente, specializing in explainable AI and interpretable computer vision. She combines her strong theoretical background with a keen eye for spotting business opportunities to create innovative solutions. With her pioneering and impactful work, she has won numerous awards and is recognized as one of the national top 5 Women in AI Young Professionals.
